The annual rush to get the best table for a romantic dinner, the least crowded movie house, the best private rendezvous watching the sun set, or just a good place that is private enough with cool fresh air to spend the sweet moments together come Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. We don’t usually join the rush, me and my dearest one, but instead we spend the ‘V-day’ on another schedule when nobody will notice that we are actually having our Valentine’s Day affair-to-remember. A walk at the park, wading at the lotus pond better than a foot spa, lie on the carabao grass until sun sets and wait for the stars and the moon to come out, a quiet moment by the beach listening for the waves cavorting the sandy shore, that is our great escape for a swell V-day, not the usual but definitely an affair-to-remember. Where could be our next escape, we have to plan this early before anybody else get there before us.
